Michael Ned Stanton, 63, died unexpectedly at his Barco home February 16, 2019. Originally from Portsmouth, Va., Michael was an experienced carpenter in the homebuilding industry.

Survivors include wife Judith R. Stanton, who honored Michael’s wish to donate his body to the furtherance of science and medicine through Duke University. No services are planned at this time.
