Pizza fundraiser in progress for Cape Hatteras Band

Cape Hatteras Secondary’s band members want to sell you a Little Caesar’s Pizza Kit.

It’s the band program’s big fundraiser for the year.

The money will be used for music, supplies and instrument repair.

Cape Hatteras band director Sean McCroskey reports many students are using school instruments at no cost. It’s good to have so many instruments, writes McCroskey, but costs are involved with maintaining and repairing the school inventory.

Another big cost is purchasing music for the various groups in the band program. Writes McCroskey, “I like to make sure the students have the best and newest literature in front of them, and that is a steep cost.”

The fundraiser started March 7. Students must turn in order forms and money March 29.

Pizzas arrive April 10. Find a band member to order a Little Caesar’s Pizza Kit or call McCroskey at 252-995-5730, ext. 3019.

To support the band without buying a pizza kit, send a donation payable to CHSS Band, Cape Hatteras Secondary School, P.O. Box 948, Buxton, NC 27920.
