Gary A. Langner, 73, of Rodanthe, died April 3, 2019. Gary was born May 23, 1945 in Bremerton, WA. He was the son of the late Harold Langner and Norma Langner.

Gary earned his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and his Master’s in education from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He spent his over fifty-year career teaching in Kansas, Missouri and North Carolina high schools and online.  In retirement he enjoyed playing pool at the community center and stamp collecting.

Gary is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Darin Pritchett; son and daughter-in-law Jason and Leigh Langner; son Kory Langner; and grandchildren Morgan, Peyton, Drew and Elise.

The family will hold a private celebration of life service at a future date.
