Staci Megan Godwin, 26, of Ahoskie, died March 31, 2019 in Ahoskie.

Staci was born in Hertford County on July 1, 1992 and was the daughter of Sherry Harrison of Wanchese and Geno Thomas Godwin Jr. of Kitty Hawk. She had worked as a cashier at various Outer Banks businesses, including Food Lion, Piggly Wiggly and Duck Thru and had attended Ahoskie Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by daughters Lyra (age 4) and Heaven (age 2); sister Ashley Lauren Jackson and husband, Nathan, of Wanchese; brother Blaine Godwin of Gates; paternal grandparents Thomas and Anita Godwin of Ahoskie; and maternal grandparents Shirley Russell of Ahoskie and Linwood Russell of Virginia.

A memorial service will be held April 9 at 6 p.m. in Ahoskie Church of God, 911 South Catherine Creek Road, and will be conducted by Pastor Raleigh Johnson. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation in the social hall immediately following the service.
