Robert Lewis Lane Sr., 67, of Kitty Hawk, died April 11, 2019. Robert bravely battled cancer for the past several months.

Originally from the Raleigh County West Virginia area, Robert was an experienced and dependable property manager. Locally, he was employed with Barrier Island for many years.

Survivors include long-time companion Margaret Gardner of the residence, son Robert “Bobby” Lewis Lane Jr. of Nags Head, grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will honor Robert’s wishes for cremation with no memorial services.
