Mustang Midsummer Meltdown returns to Corolla in July

Bearded Face Productions has announced that the People’s Blues of Richmond and C2 & The Brothers Reed will be playing at the second annual Mustang Midsummer Meltdown on Sunday, July 21 at Mike Dianna’s Grill Room in Corolla.

Hailing from Richmond, Va., three-piece psychedelic blues rock band People’s Blues of Richmond will headline the event.

“Mustang Midsummer Meltdown is going to be so much fun,” said People’s Blues of Richmond bassist Matthew Volkes. “We’ve been friends with Mike Dianna for years and he always puts on an amazing event.”

C2 & The Brothers Reed from Lexington, Ky. will be opening for the People’s Blues of Richmond bringing smooth, unique rock and soul music to the event. C2 & The Brothers Reed just released their new single “No Pressure” at the end of April.

“We are so very excited to be a part of the Mustang Midsummer Meltdown,” said C2 & The Brothers Reed. “We love what they are doing and are grateful to come to Corolla and support their cause!”

Mustang Midsummer Meltdown tickets are available now at MustangMusicFestival.com and at Mike Dianna’s Grill Room. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 day of show.

This event is part of Mike Dianna’s mustang concert series, which supports the Corolla Wild Horse Fund and the Mustang Outreach Program.

“Our first Mustang Midsummer Meltdown was so awesome that I knew I had to bring this event back in 2019,” said producer and wwner of Bearded Face Productions Mike Dianna. “Mustang Spring Jam 8 is [this] weekend (May 18-19) and our Second Annual Mustang Rock & Roast is October 19-20, so this is the perfect summer addition told hold our Mustang fans over.”

Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the music will start at 8 p.m.

Mike Dianna’s Grill Room will be serving dinner from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. They will also be serving their late night cookout menu and drinks throughout the event.
