Hobart Owen Harrison of Wanchese died May 28, 2019. He was born March 3, 1934 in West Virginia. Hobart battled kidney and heart disease for several years. He was a US Navy Korean War veteran and retired from F.P.L. Electric company.

Hobart was preceded in death by his parents, Corbett and Bertha Harrison; six siblings, three wives and a son, David.

Hobart is survived by Lisa Hayes, children Tina, Hobert and Piper as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Plans for a memorial service with military honors are pending and will be announced in the near future.
