Barbara Lee Barnett Williams

Buxton – Barbara Lee Barnett Williams of Buxton, NC went to be with our Lord, June 17th, 2019.  Her ever present warm smile was contagious to everyone she had contact with.  She was the best wife and mother that GOD could have ever given to anyone. She was born October 24, 1936 to the late Jarvis and Edna Barnett and she was married for 64 years, to her husband, the love of her life, John L. Williams, Sr.

Barbara is survived by her husband, John L. Williams Sr. and was the mother to three surviving children; Sheree Markley (Jaime), John L. Williams Jr. (Gail) and Jarvis L. Williams Sr. (Donna), all of Buxton, NC. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Sarah Blount (Jordan), Josh Covey (Tatiana), John L. Williams, III “Jake” (Lynzie), Benjamin Williams (Maggie), Katherine “Katie” Williams (Asa), Hannah “Claire” Williams, Jordan Phillips, Jacob Phillips, Mia Phillips and Jarvis “Ji” Williams (Logan); and her seven great-grandchildren, Jordy, John, Elijah, Adayah, Jedidiah, Kasen and Saylor.

There will be a viewing held Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at Lighthouse Assembly in Buxton. A funeral will be held Friday, June 21, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Lighthouse Assembly in Buxton.
