River Faye Ross, infant daughter of Kelsey Leigh Kane and Nicholas Isaiah Ross of Wanchese, went home Thursday, June 20, 2019.

In addition to her parents, River is survived by brother Roan Ross; grandparents Sheila and Ed Kane, Frank and Lorena Ross and Paula Meekins and Danny Rogers; great-grandparents Patricia Kane and Charles Meekins; aunt Zoe Kane; uncles Mark, Sam, Luke and Leo Ross; as well as a large extended family including many additional aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Clara Faye Meekins.

The family welcomed friends and relatives to celebrate her life on June 25 at Twiford Colony Chapel in Manteo.
