Escape pirate ship experience The Adventure, operated by Will You Escape the OBX of Point Harbor, has donated $1,060 the Sea Turtle Assistance and Rehabilitation (STAR) Center following a six-week run at the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island. The Adventure operated on the aquarium grounds in May and June and pledged $5 of each ticket sold to the treatment and rehabilitation of sea turtles at the aquarium.
“This generosity will go a long way in assisting these animals and positively impacting the preservation of these endangered species,” said NCARI associate director Allen McDowell.
