Coast Guard Station Oregon Inlet assists unresponsive person on charter boat

Coast Guard Station Oregon Inlet escorted a charter boat that was 30 miles southeast of the inlet with an unresponsive patient on board. The Coast Guard released this information late morning, Monday, September 2.
When the Coast Guard crew arrived with the charter vessel, Dare County EMS was on scene at the station ready to transport the patient.
