As of 1 p.m., Dominion Power reported almost 17,000 outages in Dare County, where they serve 32,000 customers. In Tyrrell County, almost all of the utilities’ 2,400 customers are without power. Currituck County is reporting over 14,000 outages out of 18,500 customers. There is no information at this time as to how long the outages will last.
