Lending a hand in Ocracoke

David Arnold and Beverly Lovegrove, both of Tennessee, and Victor Floener of Clearwarer, Fla. worked to fix a flooded home on Loop Road in Ocracoke this week. They were volunteering with Samaritan’s Purse.

David Trenor, volunteer coordinator at the N.C. Aquarium on Roanoke Island, spent Tuesday afternoon assisting other volunteers with the group Samaritan’s Purse in Ocracoke. Richard Pighinni of Manns Harbor also assisted the team tearing out the inside of a residence on Loop Road.
