Larry David Evans, 62, of Jamesville, died September 26, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Born October 6, 1956 in Norfolk, Va. he was son of David Evans and Madge Carter Evans of Jamesville, N.C. who survive.  Larry was co-owner of Evans Logging, Inc. of Jamesville, former Chairman of Town of Jamesville’s Zoning Board, member of Fairview Hunting Club and Mount Olive Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents; wife Pamela Bowen Evans of Jamesville; sons Scott Evans and wife Karen and Lee Evans and wife Jaynel both of Jamesville; brother Gary Evans and wife Donna of Plymouth; grandchildren Samantha Evans, Madison Evans and Dawson Evans.

Funeral service was held on October 1 at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth with Greg Bell and Ben Cope officiating. Burial followed in the Jamesville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Jamesville Fire Department and EMS.
