Peggy Jo Zilinsky (Vestal), of Point Harbor, died at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk Va., on October 19, 2019. She fought a long, hard battle with cancer and is now at peace. She was born in Munich, Germany on November 20, 1964.

Peggy is survived by husband John Zilinsky; son Nasir Bailey; daughters Rebecca Sudduth and her husband Mike Sudduth and their three children Ashley, Michael Jr. and Madison; Melanie Beasley and her husband Hiram Beasley and their children Rodney, Leeland and Ryland; and Elisabeth Gonzalez and her husband Neftali Gonzalez. Also surviving are five brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents Judy and Anthony Vestal Sr. and daughter Jessica Templeton. At her request, no memorial services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gallop Funeral Services (252-216-8030) in Peggy’s name towards her final arrangements.
