Cape Hatteras National Seashore offering fishing clinic

Cape Hatteras National Seashore is offering a free learn-to-fish clinic Saturday, Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ramp 55, next to the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum in Hatteras village.
Learn basic fishing techniques and ethical angling practices. All fishing equipment is provided. Fishing is catch-and-release only. Families are encouraged to bring beach chairs, water and sunscreen.
Volunteers are needed to help teach basic surf fishing techniques and ethical angling practices at various stations. All equipment and training for each station will be provided by the International Game Fish Association. If interested in volunteering to teach surf fishing, contact Amiee Ginnever at 252-475-8306.
