Looking for local Thanksgiving specials this holiday? Here are some restaurants that will be serving delicious dinners and desserts on Thanksgiving this year.

Beachside Bistro at the Sea Ranch Resort in Kill Devil Hills will be hosting plated dinner service from noon through 4 p.m. on Nov. 28. “Our guests will have a choice of traditional Thanksgiving fare, steak, vegetarian options and seafood,” Alex Smith, food and beverage manager, said. Last year, Beachside Bistro served about 60 guests, which Smith said gave families time to sit and eat without feeling rushed.

As far as the food goes, Smith said the turkey plate is “always fantastic.” It comes with roasted turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing and garlic green beans. Another favorite from last year is the seafood platter, which comes with shrimp, scallops, rockfish and a crab cake in a white wine garlic butter sauce. Desserts include pumpkin pie, cheesecake with praline sauce and a mini apple cranberry pie.
