Christopher Arthur Paterson, 83, of Moyock, died November 19, 2019, at the Currituck House.

Born in Sydney, Australia on July 14, 1936, he was the son of the late Thelma Annesley and Thomas Carlyle Paterson.

A graduate of Sydney, Australia’s Cranbook School, Christopher served his country honorably in the Royal Australian Air Force.

He is survived by children Scott David Paterson of Damascus, Va. and Allison Lee Clarke and husband Patrick of East Dundee, Ill. and granddaughter Lauren M. Paterson of Damascus, Va.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Judy Gordon and Dianne Paterson.
