Currituck tennis event recognized

The 16th Annual Eva Lane Memorial held at Barco in Currituck County has been selected as the Charity Tennis Event of the Year by the USTA North Carolina and North Carolina Tennis Foundation.

Each year, USTA North Carolina and North Carolina Tennis Foundation honor deserving individuals, organizations, events and facilities that make great contributions to advancing the sport tennis in North Carolina.

On Saturday, January 25 at Pinehurst Resort, thirty-three of those contributors, including the Eva Lane Memorial, will be recognized as 2019 USTA North Carolina and North Carolina Tennis Foundation award winners during an awards ceremony at the annual Tennis Weekend celebration.
