Kill Devil Hills releases December neighborhood crime blotter

Three December incidents were reported by the Kill Devil Hills Police Department on their neighborhood crime blotter.

The Kill Devil Hills Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the three incidents.

Breaking and Entering: On Dec. 8, officers responded to the 600 block of N. Virginia Dare Trail in reference to a house being broken into. No items were reported stolen.

Injury to Property: On Dec. 8, officers responded to the 600 block of N. Virginia Dare Trail in reference to a house being broken into. Upon arrival officers discovered a rock had been thrown through a second story window. No items were taken.

Injury to Property: On Dec. 8, officers responded to the 600 block of N. Memorial Blvd. in reference to a house being broken into. Upon arrival, officers discovered a piece of wooden fence had been thrown into a window. No items were taken from the home.
