Cape Hatteras Secondary students travel to DECA competition

DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) is an association of marketing students that encourages the development of business and leadership skills through academic conferences and competitions.

The Cape Hatteras Secondary School DECA chapter competed in the regional competition on November 21 and several students received a Top 10 medal.

Zach Huizing also placed third overall in the Retail Merchandising event. Students are now preparing for the state competition in the spring.
