Amanda McDanel will be at Downtown Books on Thursday, January 30 to teach a class on how to use the Instant Pot.

McDanel is a pro when it comes to this appliance and is ready to share her tips and tricks with Instant Pot newbies or those who just want to learn how to use the appliance to its full potential. She’ll have several pots rolling and attendees will get to sample as she whips up some new recipes.

This class begins at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 and may be reserved at manteoreads.com or by calling 252-473-1056. Downtown Books is located at 105 Sir Walter Raleigh Street in downtown Manteo.
