At this year’s Lions Clubs Mid-Winter Convention in Greenville, Manteo Lions Club member Michelle Wright was given the Lions International President’s Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of distinguished service for her spearheading the eastern NC Lions Clubs effort in hurricane relief whether financially or in getting needed items for Hatteras and Ocracoke islands.
