Anna M. Smith, 85, of Duck, died unexpectedly February 6, 2020 at her home. Anna was born in Richmond, Va. She was a talented artist, potter and businesswoman. Anna founded and successfully ran the Duck Blind Ltd. art gallery in the Town of Duck. She also enjoyed surf fishing.

Anna is survived by her nephews; David Whitehurst of Hanover, VA and Brad Whitehurst (Karen) of West Hartford, CT; her grandniece, Madison; grandnephew, Zachary also of Hanover, VA; her cousins, Mark, Sue and Zeke; as well as several friends and close neighbors.
