Mary Louise Reid Tuttle, 96, of Elizabeth City, died February 23, 2020 at her residence. She was born May 23, 1923 in Pasquotank County to the late William Franklin Reid and Victoria Cartwright Reid and was the widow of George A. Tuttle Jr.  She was a cashier for Revco Drug Store and a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

She is survived by daughter Lois Conner of the residence; son William Tuttle (Lillian) of Elizabeth City; sister Shirley White (Donald); grandchildren Melinda Culver (Bobby), Bryan Tuttle (Laura), Ray Berry (Jennifer), Jason Berry (Kelly), Allen Berry (Hannah Spear) and Adam Berry (Mary); fourteen great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by sisters Linda Barclift and Wilma Swain and an infant brother.

A graveside funeral service will be held February 27 at 2 p.m. in Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. Renee Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence.
