Jean M. O’Malley Wilson, 92, of Kill Devil Hills, formerly of Williamsburg, Va., died March 11, 2020 at her home.
A native of Newark, NJ, she was born August 4, 1927, to the late Lillian Agnes Beach and Thomas Joseph O’Malley Sr.
Jean spent her career as a Realtor at Rollason and Wood Realty, Inc. and also served as the manager of the Mariner Motel. Active in her community, she was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Baum Senior Center and a parishioner of Holy Redeemer by the Sea Catholic Church.
Jean is survived by daughter Sharon Ann Wilson Jacobs and husband John Craig Jacobs Sr. of Westminster, Calif; grandchildren John Craig Jacobs Jr. of Seal Beach, Calif. and Jeffrey Christopher Jacobs of Huntington Beach, Calif.; four great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Verna O’Malley of Richmond, Va.; and a nephew.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Wilson, and a brother, Thomas Joseph O’Malley Jr.
Plans for a Mass of the Resurrection are pending at this time.
