Two more COVID-19 cases in Dare reported Sunday; total now 35

On Sunday around 1 p.m., the number of positive COVID-19 tests in Dare County changed with a report of two more lab-confirmed cases. Dare County’s case number is now 35.

The new case descriptions, provided by the Dare Health division are:

A non-resident female, 18 to 24 years of age. She is recovering in her home county.

A resident male 65 or more years old. He is recovering in home isolation.

In Dare County, 24 people have tested positive. The county’s dashboard reports 17 individuals have recovered, one is hospitalized, one has died and five are in home isolation.

Among the 11 non-residents with positive tests, seven have recovered and four have been transferred to home counties.
