Edith Darlene Scarborough, 75, of Avon, died June 17, 2020 at her home. Born and raised in Avon, she was the daughter of the late Seymour Roosevelt Gray and Sara Margaret Gray.

Edith is survived by daughter Darlene Scarborough, sons Billy Scarborough, Orville Scarborough (Sally) and Richard Scarborough; grandchildren Anthony, Robbie (Jennifer), Raymond, Tori, Kayla Gore (Chad), Savannah, Christian, BJ and Eric; and eight great-grandchildren.

Edith was preceded in death by husband Orville C. Scarborough Sr. and son Richard Earl Nelson.

A public viewing will be held June 22 at St. John United Methodist Church between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Per church policy, masks and social distancing will be required. The funeral and interment will be private.
