Margaret Emma Kozeniewski Evanoff, 94, of Kitty Hawk, died June 18, 2020 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.

Born December 16, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Sofia and Samuel Kozeniewski. Margaret was raised in Conshohocken, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Joseph M. Evanoff.

Margaret is survived by children Dr. Marguerite Evanoff-Jurkovic and husband Ivan Jurkovic of Erie, PA., Joseph M. Evanoff and wife Catherine of Mashoes, Paul Evanoff and wife Andrea Kline of Gregory, MI, and Mark Evanoff and wife Elizabeth of Kitty Hawk; grandchildren Emily Turner and husband John of Kitty Hawk, Elizabeth Ryan and husband Kevin Ryan of Wake Forrest, Catherine Evanoff of Raleigh and Mate Jurkovic of Pittsburgh, PA; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private funeral will be held for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Roanoke Island Food Pantry, PO Box 787, Manteo, NC 27954, or online at mountolivetumc.org.
