Saqueo Alonzo Diaz and Hernan Emanuel Romero Alonzo

Saqueo Alonzo Diaz, 33, of Manteo, and Hernan Emanuel Romero Alonzo, 13, of Hyattsville, Md. died tragically July 5, 2020, while swimming at the Old Swimming Hole in Manteo.

Saqueo is survived by wife Angelica Marroquin of Manteo; daughter Janet Alonzo of Guatemala City; sons Jeison and Jhony Alonzo of Manteo and Patricio Alonzo of Guatemala City; sister Josefina Alonzo of Maryland; and brother David Alonzo of Maryland.

Hernan is survived by parents Maria Alonzo and Manuel Romero; and sister Mariela Elizabeth Romero Alonzo of Manteo.

A funeral will be held at 7 p.m. on July 11, 2020 at Twiford Colony Chapel. Saqueo and Hernan will then return home to Guatemala.
