Carolyn A. Morgenroth, 78, of Powells Point, died peacefully of natural causes in Elizabeth City July 15, 2020. Originally from Wisconsin, Mrs. Morgenroth was predeceased by husband Ronald Morgenroth Sr. She enjoyed serving customers in local retail positions for many years before her health declined.

Mrs. Morgenroth is survived by sons Ronald Morgenroth Jr. of Powells Point and Mark Morgenroth of Florida; daughters Julie Morgenroth of North Carolina and Yvette Morgenroth of Virginia; sisters Rosie and Annette both of Wisconsin; grandson Jimmy Morgenroth as well as several other relatives.

The family will honor Mrs. Morgenroth’s wishes for cremation and they have no plans for services.
