Dianne C. Avery, 68, of Southern Shores, died July 23, 2020 at home surrounded by family.

Surviving are husband Wayne Avery; sons Scott and John Avery; grandchildren Patrick, Kinsley, Dustin and Caleb; sisters Rosemary, Marion and Elizabeth; and other extended family members and close friends.

The family will honor Dianne’s wishes to be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a future time.
