Frances Byrum Rivenbark

Frances Byrum Rivenbark, 80, died peacefully July 27, 2020. She was born on November 14, 1939 to the late Clarence and Virgie Lane Byrum. Also remembered are brother Jimmy Byrum and sister Barbara Jeane.

She is survived by daughters Darlene Cartwright Bennett (Todd), of Elgin, SC, and Crystal Cartwright of Princeton, Texas and was predeceased by their father Jesse John Cartwright; April Rivenbark Wheeler (Walter) of Williamston; April’s father, Wayne Rivenbark of Burgaw; grandchildren Zach Lilly (BJ) of Talbott, Tenn. and Courtney Lilly (Jake) of Princeton, Texas, Haley Olivia Wheeler and Thomas Harrington Wheeler, of Williamston; and a great-granddaughter.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on August 3, 2020 at West Lawn Cemetery in Elizabeth City. Twiford Funeral Home, Elizabeth City is serving the family. Condolences may be sent to www.TwifordFH.com.
