Virtual candidate forums set

The Dare County League of Women Voters, partnering with the North Carolina Coastal Federation, is sponsoring Virtual Candidate Forums for the Dare Board of Commissioners and Dare Board of Education races.

“We want to insure everyone’s safety and also afford the opportunity for voters to see and hear their candidates speak and respond to questions about the issues that are important to them,” stated an LWV press release.

All candidates on the ballot are participating, according to the LWV release.

After registering to attend the virtual forum, a link to attend the webinar will be sent to each registrant’s inbox.

The forums will also be videotaped and available on YouTube, Current TV and other local outlets.
