William Paul Lynch, 57, of South Mills, died October 5, 2020 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. Born in Norfolk, Va. on July 12, 1963 to John Garrett Lynch and the late Elizabeth Ratley Hensley, he was a self-employed construction contractor.

In addition to his father, he is survived by daughter Brittany Lynch (Robert Waltman), both of Elizabeth City; his father’s wife Judy; his daughter’s  mother Marie Brooks; siblings John Lynch Jr. (Brenda) of South Mills, Ricky Lynch (Sheila) of Chesapeake, Va., Mark Lynch (Tina) of Elizabeth City, Amy Hensley-Moody (Wade) of Virginia Beach, Va. and Faith Grimmett (John) of Virginia Beach, Va.; granddaughter Alieah as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on October 17 at Twiford Memorial Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Kelly Burrus, Senior Pastor, Kempsville Baptist Church. Twiford Funeral Home, Elizabeth City is serving the family. Condolences may be sent to www.TwifordFH.com.
