Mrs. Rena Mae Spencer Harrell, 82, of Columbia, died November 8, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Rena was born in Tyrrell County on March 15, 1938, to the late Floyd and Virginia Davenport Spencer. She was married to Carlisle Harrell, who survives.

A funeral service will be held November 11 at 2 p.m. at Columbia Missionary Baptist Church. Royce Williams will officiate. Burial will follow at Azalea Memorial Gardens.

In addition to her husband, surviving are daughter Beverly Swain and husband Robert of Columbia, grandchildren Andrew Swain and wife Chelsea of Cary and Sarah Swain and Will of Columbia and one great-grandchild.

Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service, Columbia Community Chapel.
