Three additional COVID-19 cases tied to Dare County Schools reported

Dare County Schools has received notification of three additional lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases that Superintendent John Farrelly states go “back to last Friday.” Farrelly made the announcement via email early Tuesday evening.

One of the cases is attached to Manteo High School and the other two are connected to First Flight Elementary School.

“Upon initiation of contact tracing, the Dare County Department of Health and Human Services has identified over seventy-five (75) new direct contacts in these schools who will begin quarantining immediately following NC Department of Health and Human Services guidelines,” stated Farrelly.
