Island Farm will host Christmas on the North End, an event focused on gathering at the farm to celebrate the holidays in 19th century tradition.

The farm’s historic homeplace is decorated inside and out. Interpreters will share how Roanoke Island families celebrated the Christmas holiday through traditions of food, celebration and holiday craft. Expect to see holiday activities for younger audiences, created for them to make on the farm and take home to enjoy.

The event takes place between 3 and 5 p.m. on Friday, December 11 and Saturday December 12. Admission for the event is $8 for 6 and older; admission for children ages 3-5 is $4 and children ages 2 and under are free.
