Trash schedule for Martin Luther King Jr. holiday set

The Dare County C&D Landfill, Buxton Transfer Station and Manteo Recycle Yard will be closed on Monday, Jan. 18, 2021 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.

The trash collection for the week of Jan. 18 through Jan. 22 will be:

– Monday, Jan. 18, closed, no trash collection

– Tuesday, Jan. 19, Kitty Hawk, Colington, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras

– Wednesday, Jan. 20, Manteo, Wanchese, East Lake, Stumpy Point, Manns Harbor, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo and Avon

– Thursday, Jan. 21, Kitty Hawk, Colington, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras

– Friday, Jan. 22, Manteo, Wanchese, East Lake, Stumpy Point, Manns Harbor, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo and Avon

Commercial dumpsters will be picked up on Tuesday, Jan. 19 and Friday, Jan. 22.
