Hazel Mae Payne

Hazel Mae Payne, of Manns Harbor, died January 31, 2021 at Peak Resources – Outer Banks in Nags Head at age 91.

She was born July 29, 1929, to the late Henry and Rena Ambrose.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, two husbands and daughter Hazel Beasley. She is survived by son Chuck Sarvis; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held in the near future at East Lake United Methodist Church Cemetery. Details will be announced.
