Brenda Beaman Morgan, 73, passed away following an extended illness and found refuge in the arms of a loving God on Monday, November 16, 2020, at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. A devoted wife to Robert Campbell Morgan and mother to sons John Chapman Morgan and Robert “Buddy” Campbell Morgan III, Brenda will long be remembered for her kind and profoundly gentle soul.  Born in Greene, North Carolina, Brenda was the daughter of the late Mildred Beaman McCabe and Earl Beaman, Sr. In addition to her parents, Brenda was predeceased by a brother, Earl Beaman Jr.

Brenda pursued her lifelong dream, becoming an entrepreneur and owning a charming shop in Hatteras, North Carolina. Brenda was an ardent dog-lover, and the family takes comfort in the knowledge of her heavenly reunion with Brenda’s many beloved dogs that preceded her in death.

Brenda is survived by her husband of fifty years, Robert Campbell Morgan, sons Robert Campbell Morgan III, of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, John Chapman Morgan of Charlotte, North Carolina, and grandchildren, Hannah and Ian Morgan. A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at a later date due to the ongoing pandemic. Condolences may be expressed to the family.
