Kaye Elizabeth Whitfield

Kaye Elizabeth Whitfield, 83, of Kitty Hawk, died February 15, 2021 at Peak Resources – Outer Banks.

Daughter of the late Elizabeth Smith Whitfield and George Ashley Whitfield, she was born in Norfolk, Va. on July 16, 1937.

Miss Whitfield is survived by sister Karolyn W. Quidley; nieces Mary Quidley, Gracie Quidley, Susan Quidley and Karol Quidley; nephew Willie Quidley; great-nieces and great-nephews Lane Quidley, Beaman Hines Jr., Annaleigh Hines and Ashley Quidley; and many cousins.

A private burial was held in Austin Cemetery. Miss Whitfield requested that memorial donations be made to Albemarle Home Care and Hospice (408 Hastings Lane, Elizabeth City, NC 27909) or Dare Hospice (PO Box 669, Manteo, NC 27954).
