Judy Diane Perry Payne, 76, of Wanchese, died March 10, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center – Greenville.

Born in Pasquotank County on August 15, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Nora Sawyer Perry and Fred Arnold Perry.

She is survived by husband Donald S. Payne; daughters Donna Payne and Brenda Payne; son Eric Payne; and grandson Derick B. Baum (Eric Anthony Land).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by children, Larry, Barry and Baby Boy Payne; and sister Deborah Perry.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on March 15 at Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo. The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service. Private burial will take place at Austin Cemetery, Kitty Hawk. The family request masks are worn by all.
