Loon takes shrimp dinner ‘to-go’

Common loons (Gavia immer) have razor-sharp bills, which are great for catching meals of fish, shrimp and a variety of crustaceans.
When humans try to help a loon, they quickly find out how sharp the bills are.
Loons are great swimmers, mostly underwater, but on land they are extremely awkward and are frequently mistaken as injured. That’s when helpful humans attempt to assist loons, only to get the point that they just need to let the bird get back into water, stated USFWS.
