David Bradford Reber, 61, of Wanchese, died March 11, 2021, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville after a long battle with chronic kidney disease.

Born in Elizabeth City on March 9, 1960, he was the son of the late Catherine Payne Reber and John H. Reber.

Braddy is survived by daughters Carla Reber and Christina Reber; sisters Jean, Pearline, Gwen and Cathy (Randy); brothers Sonny (Ginger), Crawford (Vicki), Chris (Rikki) and Louie; aunt and uncle Jean and Louie; and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Braddy was preceded in death by wife Cheryl. There are no plans for a memorial at this time. In lieu of flowers, friends and family wishing to honor David are urged to please make donations directly to the funeral home to assist his daughters with David’s cremation expenses. The donation list is now open 24 hours a day at 252-216-8030.
