Wanchese Lions Club welcomes new members

At a recent meeting, Past District Governor Lion Robert L “Bob” Walton inducted three new members into the Wanchese Lions Club. Shown, from left, are Walton, new member Lion Sandra Rice, Wanchese Lions Vice President Martha Jane Worrell, new members Lion Johanna Walmsley and Lion Brian Kerns.

The Wanchese Lions Club welcomes new Lions. The club was chartered in February 1980 and has been serving the Wanchese community since that time.

The club meets every second and fourth Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in the Wanchese community building. Anyone interested in the work of the Lions Club is welcome to attend.
