Manteo Middle School TSA students participated in the Technology Student Association Virtual District Competition.

A first place award went to Gauge Walston in the “Off the Grid” competition. His project depicted an alternative energy source for a family home in an economically developing country, as well as addressing one other problem specific to his chosen area.

Kelsey Ogelsby, TSA advisor, and Tami Harper, MMS principal, congratulated Guage for his achievement.
