Meet the winners of the Mutt Madness photo contest!

It’s time to meet the winners of our inaugural Mutt Madness photo contest sponsored by Roanoke Island Animal Clinic.

Taking the top spot was Miracle Boy (Reef), who won a pet and family photoshoot with Biff Jennings of Shooters at the Beach, a one year’s supply of heartworm, flea and tick medicine provided by Roanoke Island Animal Clinic, a $100 gift card from Ocean Sands K-9 Resort, a pet-themed garden flag provided by Gift Garden, a treat bag provided by Holistic Pet Shop and a Buddy by the Sea bandana provided by Gray’s Outer Banks Lifestyle Clothing.

Zorra

Zorra, the second place winner, won a treat bag provided by Holistic Pet Shop, a Buddy by the Sea bandana provided by Gray’s Outer Banks Lifestyle Clothing, a $25 Food Lion gift card, a ball caddy dispenser and refill bags provided by Hatteras Island Pet Resort, Dingo Munchy Sticks provided by Ace Hardware and an Avalanche retractable leash provided by Hatteras Island Pet Resort.

Murphy, the third place winner, took home a gift bag provided by Mulligan’s Raw Bar & Grille including a Mulligan’s t-shirt, collapsible doggy bowl, frisbee, sticker, $25 Mulligan’s gift card, as well as a Nylabone chew bone provided by Ace Hardware and a treat bag provided by Holistic Pet Shop.

Yogi, the fourth place winner won a $30 gift card provided by Sugar Shack Seafood, a leash provided by Hatteras Island Pet Resort, an Outward Hound squeaky toy provided by Hatteras Island Pet Resort, a treat bag provided by Holistic Pet Shop and a leash provided by Hatteras Island Pet Resort.

Finalists in fifth through eight place – Corie June, Ollie, Super Scooter and Afternoon Walk in Wanchese – each won a variety of toys, leashes, treats, stuffed animals, nail clippers and more from Hatteras Island Pet Resort and Ace Hardware.
