Wilbur Ray Berry Sr., 67, of Shawboro, died May 11, 2021 at home. He was born in Elizabeth City on March 9, 1954 to the late Willie Berry Jr. and Mary Luceba Godfrey Berry.

He is survived by sons Wilbur “Ray” Berry Jr. (Jennifer), Jason Berry, Allen Berry, Adam Berry (Mary) and Parker Berry; sisters Kathy Lee and Ann Pierce (Wayne); and grandchildren Zach, Aden, Lee, Faith, Ashley, David, Daniel and Justin. He was predeceased by sister Nona Marie Berry and brother Freddie Berry.
