Iva “Joyce” Midgett, age 81, of Plover, Wisc., died May 14, 2021 at home. Joyce was born to the late William and Courtney (Gaskill) Scarborough in Hatteras.

She is survived by husband Chester “Morgan” Midgett; children Sandra Holt and Cindy (Mike) Loyd; grandchildren Alicia Daniel, Rachael Lytge, Steven Lytge, Trevor Holt, Deider Loyd and Deizel Loyd; three great-grandchildren and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on May 24, 2021 at Buxton United Methodist Church with Rev. Toni Wood officiating. A graveside committal will immediately follow at the Buxton Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives for a viewing one hour prior to the service.
